Using Flask or Django with Ultra96 + PYNQ

#1

Hey!,
I have a small question. If I try to serve my python program as a web app using Flask (or maybe Django) will it interfere with the Jupyter Notebook which I think is also served using Flask by PYNQ?
Can I host it on a different port?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

You cannot generally share a port between 2 services.

Configure either Jupyter or the other app to use a different port. For PYNQ you would have to change the startup service for Jupyter to have it use a different port. Look at the command line options for Jupyter to see how to change it’s port and/or the documentation for django or flask about how to change their ports. I have not done any of this specifically but this is the general procedure.
